Building Motorbike Frames
Building Motorbike Frames
need help with xmas present for my husband?

At the moment my husband is building a motorbike and all I know is that there is a frame sitting in the garage. I’ve heard him say he was looking for a fuel tank but I have no idea about bikes or this bike of his.

I know he doesn’t have many tools because we moved country a year ago and he hasn’t bought many tools since being here.

Can anyone suggest some ideas for a christmas present for him? I would buy him tools but I have no idea what he would need or use??

I’d appreciate any help thank you

Here are a few of my suggestions based on years of twisting wrenches for a hobby and for a living.
3/8″ drive torque wrenches in in-lbs and ft-lbs.
I use a 9 drawer Sears Craftsman bottom box for all my motorcycle tools.
**Correction** I use an 8 drawer bottom box from Craftsman. Seems I lost my ability to count last night.

I also use a steel service cart from Harbor Freight. Darn thing comes real handy. See URL below. Price is right.
I also use a magnetic parts tray. Very handy and how did I work for so many years without one or two. Second URL below.
Wobble extensions. Amazingly useful. Third URL below.
For the most part my tools are Craftsman with about 10% Snap-On. Lately I have been buying Kobalt brand tools from Lowes. I have had zero problems and they are made in the USA.
I hope this helps.
